Small Group/Individual Counseling

I will be doing large group activities within the classroom, however, sometimes the need arises where children need more one on one or small group attention to help them deal with problems at school or home.  That is when we form small groups with the same concerns or perhaps working with one child to help them work through their problems.  Here is a small sampling of the groups we will have available.

*Bully Busters:  Strategies to help your child dealing with bullies!

*Respect Yourself!  Activities to help promote higher self-esteem

*Banana Splits!  This small group will be for students whose parents are divorced or separated.

*Memory Makers!  Small group or individual activities for children dealing with the loss of a loved one.

*The Breakfast Club!  Organizational skills - keeping folders, backpacks, desks organized.

I realize there are many other concerns that confront young families today, as well as grandparents who have stepped into the role as caregiver, so please do not hesitate to call.
